Lindsay+Steven ~ Burlington Waterfront Engagement

For this shoot we went to Paletta mansion in Burlington, since the first time I went there 5 years ago this has always been a top favorite location for me to shoot! so much variety in such a small space I never have enough time to walk the full thing!

Lindsay and Steven were great to work with I feel we all clicked together (they listen to direction very good LOL)

Jake+Sarah – Downtown engagement

When Sarah and Jake mentioned that they would like their engagement photos at the Hamilton farmers market, I had my hesitations as shooting indoors in most circumstances is not good! lighting is ALWAYS my number 1 priority and indoors is usually dimly lit and that means flash photography..eww! But then I thought about it and I loved the idea of the craziness of the farmers market, lots of people, vendors, fresh colorful fruits and veggies! and if anything we will be in downtown Hamilton,… we can just walk around the block and find interesting buildings, walls & streets to use.

The market was actually quite amazing! The front of the building was glass top to bottom so tons of natural light, so clean and we even bought some watermelon to use as props too. and like I knew down the road was tons of graffiti walls to use in the shoot.

Congrats again guys can’t wait for the Wedding!!

Chloe ~ Cake smash, Hamilton, ON

I love cake smash sessions! it never matters what mood I am in when they get in front of that cake and just dig in and especially when the sugar kicks in it is always hilarious. I can’t believe Chloe is 1 already! hard to believe we did her newborn pictures a year ago and she was one of our first newborn clients!

Happy Birthday cutie pie!

Nicole&Chris ~ Grand Olympia, Hamilton

Nicole and Chris’s day was perfect the weather looked liked it was going to pour all day and the only time it rained was when we drove from the church to Royal Botanical Gardens where we did the Wedding photos. I love big Wedding parties especially when they are so fun like this one was!!

Halloween Mini Session

We had a blast photographing some past clients on the weekend for our 1st annual Halloween/fall minis

Here’s some highlights

Carrie & Andrew ~ Websters Falls Engagement

What was probably the last beautiful day of 2011 we spent the afternoon at Websters falls in Dundas, On. Great spot for fall color, trails and ofcourse the falls itself. Carrie & Andrew is an incredible couple in the short amount of time i’ve known them I can see just how perfect they are for eachother, they are both very loving, fun, and knows how to make each other laugh which makes my job a lot easier! lol I can’t wait for their Wedding.

We stopped to play a little frisbee (why not?!!)

LOL

Britt & Adam ~ Acaster Old Mill Wedding

Britt & Adam had both their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Old Mill in Ancaster, On. The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony not to hot not to cold overcast sky. It was my first time capturing a outdoor ceremony at the old mill and I am amazed how beautifully the landscaping is for such a tight spot. For those of you who have been to the old mill there is not that much grounds but they make up for it for what they do have old buildings, landscaping, waterfalls, it almost seems like your in a small village definitely one of my favorite spots. Congrats again guys.

Harlow ~ christening

All of our mini sessions (baptism, christening, cake smash, holidays etc..) always include a collage from the session fee.

Harlow is such a sweet little girl just as easy to photograph when she was just days old with us.

Marina ~ 6 days new

Marina was quite the challenge for us at first but we eventually won the battle and even gave us a victory smile!

Mom is also Brazillian and brought this flag

look at those lil' lips
